The Role

Construction Helper / Mason / Steel Fixer in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Construction is the single largest sectoral allocation in Bosnia and Herzegovina's 2026 work-permit quota — 1,760 of the 7,427 total permits — as ongoing infrastructure and residential projects across the Federation and Republika Srpska outpace the domestic workforce. May 2026 amendments to the FBiH Law on Employment of Foreigners now let the Federal Employment Service formally declare deficit occupations each year, removing the unemployment-register check for roles on that list — construction trades are consistently among them.

Salary: EUR 550–850 per month (up to EUR 850), with employer-provided accommodation. Pay depends on experience and trade test result; skilled and certified candidates earn toward the top of the range.
