Staffing the e-commerce peak in Poland: Black Friday to Christmas

How Polish fulfilment centres and parcel hubs can staff the Black Friday to Christmas peak: when to order, how many workers, and how to keep them productive.

Updated 7 October 2026 · For employers in Poland

Why the peak is hard to staff

Every fulfilment centre, parcel hub and retailer in Poland needs extra people in the same weeks. Local temporary workers are spread thin, move between sites for small rate differences and often leave before the peak ends.

When to order

Plan the peak in summer. A first batch from Pakistan needs time for permits and visas, so the earlier you order, the more of the season your team covers.

How many workers

Size the team from your forecast, not last year's headcount:

Keep them productive

Share your SOPs before arrival so workers are briefed on scanners and packing standards. Pair new arrivals with experienced staff for the first shifts and agree a two-week ramp-up plan.

After the peak

Keep part of the team for January returns and reduce the rest. With no minimum term you scale down without penalty.

You assign the task. We handle everything else. Order Pakistani warehouse and general workers on demand: see how it works or send your order.

Frequently asked questions

Can we keep some workers after the peak?

Yes. Keep as many as you need for returns or regular volume; there is no minimum term either way.

Do workers know scanners and pick-by-voice?

Many have warehouse experience. We brief every worker on your system before arrival and agree a ramp-up plan.
