Warehouse and logistics jobs are always among the most in-demand in Croatia (skladištar is in the top ten on HZZ's own job portal), because of retail distribution, factory logistics and Croatia's location on the Pan-European transport corridors. Croatian employers first ask HZZ for a labour market test (test tržišta rada) and then apply to the Ministry of the Interior for the stay-and-work permit, with Form 17a (the employer's housing declaration) and Form 18a (your health and vaccination certificate, completed in Pakistan before travel). Croatia has no embassy in Pakistan, so the visa is lodged through the nearest Croatian mission or an authorised VFS Global centre. From offer to arrival usually takes about 10–14 weeks once the documents, the labour market test and the medical are done.
