Partner-led headhunting for senior, board-level and business-critical appointments. Discreet, thorough and accountable — a dedicated practice within Crown Enterprises Overseas Employment
Our Executive Headhunters practice is a separate full-time service line within Crown Enterprises Overseas Employment Different team, different protocols, different commercial model from our volume manpower recruitment.
We are brought in for the hire that cannot go wrong — the leader whose decisions will shape the next three years, the specialist whose absence is already costing money, the succession that needs careful, quiet handling. This is not volume recruitment in smarter clothes.
Advertising a job and headhunting a leader are very different things. An advert brings in applicants; headhunting finds the right person, whether or not they are looking. For roles that matter to the business, that difference is huge.
Clients usually bring in our executive headhunting team for one of three reasons:
Contingency recruiters are paid on placement, which rewards speed and volume and produces quick lists of people already job-hunting. That rarely finds the right leader for a role where a poor choice costs years. We work on retainer only: we are paid to find the right person, not to send whichever CV is closest to hand.
We handle searches in six practice areas, each led by a consultant who has worked in that sector and has a trusted network among Pakistani professionals and returning diaspora talent.
Project Directors, Site Managers, Planning Engineers, QA/QC Managers, HSE Managers and Commercial Managers for major infrastructure, high-rise and industrial construction projects across Romania, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar and Oman.
Plant Managers, Production Heads, Maintenance Engineers, Electrical & Mechanical Engineers, Quality Heads and R&D leaders for manufacturing, textiles, automotive, food processing and heavy industry.
Consultant Physicians, Surgeons, Nursing Directors, Medical Superintendents, Lab Directors and specialist clinical roles for hospitals, clinics and healthcare groups in the Gulf, UK and Europe.
General Managers, F&B Directors, Executive Chefs, Rooms Division Managers, Revenue Managers and senior operations leadership for five-star chains, resort properties and boutique hotel groups.
CFOs, Financial Controllers, Chartered Accountants (ACA, ACCA, CA Pakistan), Internal Audit Heads, Treasury Managers and Compliance Officers for international holding groups and multinationals.
CTOs, IT Directors, Solution Architects, Cybersecurity Leads, Senior Developers, Data Engineering Managers and specialist technical consultants for technology-first businesses and digital transformation programmes.
We approach proven senior people who are not looking for a move — the ones you will never find on job boards and rarely in recruiters' LinkedIn searches. We reach them through relationships, sector knowledge and personal introductions.
Every search is handled in strict confidence: anonymised role descriptions for first approaches, redacted shortlists until you approve a direct introduction, and signed NDAs with every candidate we contact. This suits replacements, succession plans and any appointment the market should not know about yet.
We assess leadership, judgement and cultural fit in depth rather than scanning CVs for keywords. Every finalist goes through structured competency interviews, analysis of past situations, reference calls with peers and direct reports as well as former bosses, and qualification checks made directly with the issuing institution.
Before a candidate meets you, we have tested their capability, salary expectations, ability to relocate, readiness for your culture and family circumstances. You meet people who can genuinely succeed in the role, not a list of possibilities.
Each placement comes with a replacement guarantee of up to 12 months. If the person leaves within that period for reasons linked to fit, we repeat the search without a further professional fee. That is well beyond the usual industry term and ties our interests to yours.
A senior appointment is usually won or lost in its first six months. Every search therefore includes structured onboarding support as standard — regular check-ins with you and the new leader, early warning of problems and light coaching — rather than as a costly extra. If something is going wrong, we usually spot it before either side does.
Retained search runs for an agreed period with a clear outcome. We organise every assignment into four formal stages before onboarding starts.
A senior partner meets you and the relevant board or HR leaders to define the role, the business context, the risks involved, what success looks like after 12 months, pay benchmarks and the cultural qualities that matter. The result is a written role specification and a formal search mandate.
We draw up a list of target companies and map the people currently in comparable roles. Every approach is discreet and made by a senior partner, never by bulk messages or junior researchers. Because Pakistan's senior professional community is smaller than most international markets, we can map the whole field for a role in 10 to 14 days.
Each candidate is assessed in depth on leadership, judgement under pressure, motivation, pay expectations, mobility, family situation and fit with your organisation. References come straight from verified former managers and colleagues and, for finalists, from people who reported to them. Qualifications are confirmed with the institutions that awarded them.
You receive a shortlist of four to six candidates, each checked for experience, cultural fit and genuine interest in the move, and each accompanied by a written assessment from the search partner rather than just a CV. We arrange interviews, manage negotiations on both sides and support the final offer with our relocation and visa services.
Pakistan produces over 500,000 university graduates a year, including more than 25,000 engineers, 15,000 medical graduates and 10,000 chartered accountants. It has the world's fifth-largest English-speaking population, and its senior professionals are usually trained to British curricula and international certifications.
For employers abroad, senior Pakistani hires bring three clear advantages: strong business English, technical depth gained on large infrastructure and industrial projects, and salary levels well below Western Europe or North America with no loss of capability. A growing pool of returning diaspora — Pakistanis with 10 to 20 years in the Gulf, the UK or the West who are actively looking for their next role — widens the field further.
Our fee is a percentage of the appointee's first-year gross pay — base salary, fixed allowances and guaranteed bonus — invoiced in three equal parts: at engagement, at shortlist and at placement. This is the normal model for retained search worldwide and links our reward to the result, not the effort.
Searches for clients outside Pakistan are invoiced in EUR, GBP or USD on a formal commercial invoice. We share typical ranges and current benchmarks at the first meeting. Beyond the agreed fee, the only costs are any pre-approved expenses, such as travel to assess candidates in person in another country.
Public adverts attract applicants, not leaders, and they compromise confidentiality. Every search is run through direct approach.
Every shortlisted candidate arrives with a written assessment by the partner leading the search. No database dumps, no volume scrolling.
Senior mandates are retained only. The commercial model shapes the product — pay-on-placement incentivises the wrong behaviours at this level.
Each senior partner carries a small number of live mandates at any time. This is a deliberate capacity choice and the reason we can stay close to every engagement.
If you are planning a senior appointment, or need to replace a current leader discreetly, we would be glad to talk in confidence. Every enquiry is treated as strictly private.
