End-to-end UK university placement for Pakistani students — from course selection through CAS issuance and UKVI Student visa approval. A full-time dedicated practice within Crown Enterprises Overseas Employment
UK universities have three main intakes each year. September is the main one with the most courses, January is the second with a good range of programmes, and May is a smaller intake for some programmes. Planning backwards from these dates, usually 8 to 12 months in advance, is the most important step for a successful application.
Our office in Pakistan is open Monday to Saturday all year, so families can start a profile assessment whenever they are ready and plan towards the right intake.
Not slogans — the real reasons Pakistani families should consider the UK over other countries.
The UK has 17 universities in the QS World Top 100 and more than 60 others in the Top 500. Beyond the Russell Group, there are many strong red-brick, plate-glass and post-1992 universities whose degrees are respected worldwide and whose entry requirements are often easier than families expect.
One-year taught Master's degrees are a real advantage: the total fees and living costs for a one-year UK Master's are often lower than one year of a similar two-year US programme. Bachelor's degrees last three years (four in Scotland) instead of the usual four in the US, which lowers the total cost again.
Many UK universities give conditional offers before an English test result is final. Students can take IELTS or PTE after the offer, and at several universities they can use a Medium of Instruction letter or a pre-sessional English course instead of a formal test. This gives more options to students with strong grades who have not taken the test yet.
From central London to Edinburgh, Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds and Cardiff, and smaller university towns such as Bath, Durham, Exeter and York, the UK offers a wide choice of living costs, climates and lifestyles. Living costs outside London are usually 30 to 50 percent lower, with the same academic quality.
Students on a Student visa can work up to 20 hours a week during term and full time in the holidays, which helps with living costs. Even more important, the UK Graduate Route lets graduates stay for 2 years after a Bachelor's or Master's (3 years after a PhD) with no restrictions and no job offer needed to apply.
We cover all major subjects at Bachelor's and Master's level. The eight subject areas below account for most applications from Pakistani students.
BBA, BSc Business Management, BA Finance, MSc International Business, MSc Marketing, MSc Project Management and one-year MBA programmes. Strong fit for students with A-Level or F.Sc (Pre-Engineering or ICS) backgrounds and mid-to-high academic scores.
BEng and MEng in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic, Civil, Chemical, Aerospace, Automotive and Petroleum Engineering. MSc specialisations in Renewable Energy, Robotics, Structural and Environmental Engineering. F.Sc Pre-Engineering or intermediate Engineering is the standard feeder qualification.
BSc Accounting & Finance, BSc Banking & Finance, MSc Accounting, MSc Finance and MSc Financial Management. ACCA and CA Pakistan qualifications receive meaningful advanced standing at many UK universities, reducing time-to-degree.
BSc Computer Science, BSc Software Engineering, BSc Data Science, BSc Cyber Security. MSc programmes in AI, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Cloud Computing and Cybersecurity. Among the highest-demand fields from Pakistan and consistently strong in Graduate Route outcomes.
BSc Nursing, BSc Public Health, BSc Nutrition, MSc Public Health, MSc Global Health, MSc Nursing (where applicable) and specialist allied-health postgraduate programmes. Nursing and allied health carry strong UK employment pathways via the NHS.
BSc Biomedical Science, BSc Biotechnology, MSc Biomedical Science, MSc Clinical Microbiology, MSc Molecular Biology. Suitable for F.Sc Pre-Medical students and Pakistani BS graduates in the biological sciences.
MPharm (for students meeting the specific A-Level or F.Sc chemistry-and-biology requirements), MSc Pharmaceutical Sciences, MSc Clinical Pharmacy and MSc Pharmacology. Pharmacy is regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council — practice registration requires separate qualification after the degree.
BSc Psychology (BPS-accredited where applicable), MSc Clinical Psychology, MSc Forensic Psychology, MSc Occupational Psychology. Also MA and MSc programmes across International Relations, Development Studies, Sociology and Social Policy.
Each university sets its own scores, but the figures below are the usual minimums across the UK. Competitive courses at top universities usually ask for half a band to a full band more.
Bachelor's: 6.0 overall, with no section below 5.5.
Master's: 6.5 overall, with no section below 6.0.
Law, Medicine, Nursing, Clinical Psychology and some business school courses ask for more, usually 7.0 overall with 6.5 or 7.0 in each section.
Bachelor's: 55 overall, with no section below 50.
Master's: 58 overall, with no section below 55.
Most UK universities accept PTE Academic instead of IELTS. A growing number also accept the Duolingo English Test, and we advise on each case.
Pre-sessional English option: If a student's score is just below the requirement, the university's own pre-sessional English course (usually 6 to 16 weeks before term) allows entry without taking the test again. It is a good route for strong students who had one weak test result.
The university application comes before the visa. Universities need the documents below before they can make a conditional or unconditional offer.
Matric / O-Level, F.Sc / A-Level and any Bachelor's-level transcripts and degree certificates. Official stamped or attested copies required. For Pakistani Bachelor's programmes, both the mark-sheet and the final degree certificate are needed.
Clear scanned copy of the photo page, back page and any prior visa pages. Passport must have at least 6 months of validity from intended UK entry date, with at least 2 blank pages.
One-to-two-page professional CV covering education, any work experience, internships, academic projects and relevant achievements. See the CV section further down this page for a full guide.
Clear scanned copy of both sides of the applicant's CNIC (or B-Form for students under 18).
A written statement explaining the applicant's motivation for the course, career goals and fit with the chosen university. Separate from and more detailed than the CV. Guidance in the Personal Statement section below.
For postgraduate applicants with prior employment, a formal experience letter from each employer on company letterhead stating role, dates of employment and key responsibilities. Particularly important for MBA and professional Master's applications.
From previous instructors, dissertation supervisors or employers familiar with the applicant's academic or professional work. Must be on official letterhead with the referee's designation and contact details.
IELTS, PTE, Duolingo score report or Medium-of-Instruction letter — required at application or deferred to a pre-CAS condition depending on the university's policy.
After the university issues a CAS, the Student visa application follows. Visa paperwork needs special care — mistakes here are the most common reason UK Student visas are refused.
The unique reference issued by the sponsoring university. Every detail on the CAS — name spelling, passport number, course title, fees, start date — is cross-checked by UKVI against the visa application. We verify the CAS line by line before submission.
Matric, F.Sc, Bachelor's (and Master's where applicable) transcripts and degree certificates — originals must be available at biometrics if UKVI requests. We also maintain attested scan copies for the online application bundle.
Clear scans of the photo page, the signature page and the back page. If the applicant holds any previous passports, those are submitted alongside.
A statement of a recognised account showing maintenance funds held for 28 consecutive days. The required amount follows the UKVI published monthly maintenance rate × 9 months for London universities, or the lower non-London rate × 9 months — plus any unpaid portion of first-year tuition. Check the current UKVI rate before you open the 28-day window.
A formal letter from the bank on official letterhead confirming the account holder's name, account type, opening date, current balance and statement of funds held for the required 28-day period. Date of letter must fall within 31 days of the visa application.
Where a parent or legal guardian is financially sponsoring the student, a formal affidavit (on judicial stamp paper) confirming the sponsorship relationship and willingness to fund studies. Attached along with the sponsor's bank documents and CNIC.
Mandatory medical test for Pakistani applicants applying for UK stays of 6 months or more. Must be obtained from an IOM-approved testing centre — the only centres accepted by UKVI. We advise on current approved locations in Islamabad and the standard validity window.
Required for the visa stage as well as for the university application. The visa version focuses on course-choice rationale, post-study intent and genuine student status. We ensure consistency between the university-stage and visa-stage statements.
Any prior UK visa refusals or approvals must be declared. Non-disclosure of a previous refusal is one of the most serious grounds for automatic rejection and a future 10-year ban. Always declare; we then prepare a supporting explanation where required.
A recent colour photograph meeting UKVI specifications. Biometrics are captured at TLS Contact in Islamabad at the submission appointment.
A CV for a UK university is one to two pages long; longer is not better. An admissions officer may read fifty CVs at one sitting, so the layout should be clean, the structure easy to follow and the content specific.
Full name, address in Pakistan (or current city), a working mobile number with country code and a professional email address — not the one you made at school. A simple Gmail like firstname.lastname@gmail.com is fine.
List your education with the most recent first. For each, give the institution, degree or qualification, main subjects, dates and final percentage, GPA or grade. Mention any honours, merit positions, Dean's List or scholarships.
Most recent job first. For each job give the company, job title, start and end month and year, and two to four bullet points on duties and results. Internships and part-time jobs count. If the work is not related to your planned course, briefly explain the skills that carry over instead of leaving it out.
Technical skills that relate to the course (software, programming languages, lab techniques), important academic projects with a one-line summary, and any outside certificates (Coursera, edX, professional training). Be specific: "Python (intermediate, used for final-year project data analysis)" is better than "Python".
Write "References available on request." Do not put referees' contact details on the CV unless asked. Keep a separate sheet ready with three referees — usually two academic and one employer — with their name, position, institution, email and phone.
One or two pages at most, black text on a white background, one font only (Calibri, Arial or Garamond), and consistent use of bold and italics. No photo on a UK academic CV. Save and send it as a PDF, not a Word file.
The Personal Statement, also called the Statement of Purpose, is the most important written document in a UK application. The CV shows what the student has done; the Personal Statement explains why the university should let them do this next.
Start with a clear introduction, say directly what you want to study, and add a short line about the academic or personal experience that led you to the subject. Avoid opening quotes, philosophical thoughts or childhood stories unless they are directly relevant — UK admissions tutors prefer a direct style.
Explain why you chose this programme at this university. Name at least two modules from the course, a professor's research area, a lab, a specialist centre or another feature of the course that attracted you. This is where general statements are quickly noticed and marked down.
Describe your career plans after study honestly. Name the role or field you are aiming for and explain exactly how the modules and skills from this programme lead there. UK admissions tutors value specific goals more than vague wishes to "make a difference".
End with a summary of your main points, what you will bring to the programme and the university, and — very important for the visa — a clear account of your ties to Pakistan and your plans after study, whether that is the UK Graduate Route, coming home, or a career linking both.
Keep it to 500 to 800 words (UCAS undergraduate statements are limited to 4,000 characters; postgraduate statements are usually 1 to 2 pages). Write in formal, clear English with no slang, contractions or exaggeration. Read it aloud before sending and ask two people to check it. Never copy sample statements from the internet — UK universities check personal statements for plagiarism, just like essays.
A proper UK application takes 8 to 12 months. This is how we manage it from start to finish.
A meeting with a senior counsellor at our Pakistan office or online. We look at the academic record, target intake, budget and career goal, and give a written, honest assessment of which UK universities and courses are realistic.
We prepare a shortlist of six to ten UK universities in three groups: ambitious, balanced and safe. For each one we show the course structure, modules, city and campus, fees and living costs.
UCAS registration for undergraduates or direct online applications for postgraduates, Personal Statement writing with our team, coordination with academic referees, and strict attention to deadlines (15 January for UCAS equal consideration, 15 October for Oxbridge, Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary).
As conditional offers, unconditional offers or rejections arrive, we go through each one with the family — explaining the conditions, advising on firm and insurance choices and arranging deferrals when needed.
We help with IELTS booking through the British Council and IDP and suggest preparation materials. For borderline cases, we find universities that accept pre-sessional English.
Once the offer is firmly accepted and the conditions are met, a deposit (set by the university) secures the place, and the university issues the CAS. We check every detail on it before preparing the visa application.
Advice on which bank accounts are accepted, the 28-day rule, evidence of parental sponsorship, and the paperwork UKVI expects. Most refusals at this stage can be avoided with proper preparation.
The full online application on gov.uk, the TLS Contact biometrics appointment in Islamabad, payment of the IHS at the current yearly rate, and a complete set of supporting documents. Standard service takes 3 weeks; Super Priority takes 1 working day.
A structured session on arriving in the UK, collecting the BRP, registering with the NHS, opening a student bank account, getting a SIM card and travel cards, and checking into accommodation. Parents join the student.
We stay in touch during the important first 90 days — enrolment problems, GP registration, police registration where needed, or any unexpected paperwork. Our Pakistan office is still there after the visa is stamped.
The UK Graduate Route lets international students who finish an eligible course stay and work, or look for work, in the UK for 2 years after a Bachelor's or Master's and 3 years after a PhD. No job offer is needed to apply.
This changes the picture for Pakistani families. A student who finishes a one-year UK Master's can stay two more years on the Graduate Route, find skilled work and possibly move to a Skilled Worker visa, which counts towards Indefinite Leave to Remain. We include the Graduate Route in the first conversations about universities and courses, not as an afterthought.
We have been handling visa applications, embassy submissions, document attestation and pre-departure logistics since 2010 under OEP Licence No. 2868/RWP. The institutional discipline that makes our manpower deployment reliable makes our student consultancy reliable. We are not a rebranded travel agent.
Every institution we work with is on the UK government's Register of Licensed Sponsors with an active Student licence. We do not promote doubtful colleges or providers with a poor licensing record, because a CAS from an unreliable sponsor can end a student's UK plans before they start.
We tell you our consultancy fee in writing at the first meeting. We do not inflate tuition invoices, take double commission or add hidden charges. When a university pays a standard agent commission, that is part of how UK higher education works and does not change what the student pays the university.
Not every student fits every university. We will tell a family when a target is unrealistic, when an IELTS retake makes sense, or when waiting for the next intake is the better plan. Consultants who say "yes, no problem" to everything do the family no favours when the refusal email arrives.
Parents can come to our office, meet the counsellor, look through documents in person and ask their questions face to face. For a decision this costly and important that matters — and it means there is a real person and a real address if anything needs following up later.
Book a free first assessment. We will give you an honest view of which UK universities and courses are realistic for your academic record, budget and career goal.
