Why UK firms switch to us

Most UK clients come to Crown from another arrangement. They stay for the month-end pack.

UK companies rarely start with us. They start by paying a freelancer directly, or with a provider who sends a single invoice and very little else. What brings them to Crown is control: a predictable payroll calendar, a breakdown their accountant can post without questions, statutory registrations they can see, and one named desk that answers both the company and the employees. We handle the Pakistani side completely, from the employment contract to the final settlement, so your people are paid correctly and your books stay clean.

FAQ

What UK employers ask the payroll desk.

We already use a payroll provider in Pakistan. How does switching work?

We take a handover file from you or your current provider: contracts, salary history, leave balances, gratuity accrued and social security numbers. New contracts recognise each person's original joining date, so service and leave carry over, and we switch on a payroll date so nobody misses a salary.

What exactly lands in our finance inbox each month?

A GBP invoice, a per-employee breakdown (gross, income tax, EOBI, social security, gratuity provision, medical, management fee), payslip copies and a CSV you can import as a journal into Xero, Sage or QuickBooks.

When do we need to send funds?

We agree a monthly calendar: timesheet and leave approval about seven working days before payday, invoice the same day, funds due three working days before payday. Salaries reach Pakistani bank accounts on the date in the contract.

Our team works UK hours. Does payroll handle that?

Yes. Shift timings, any late-shift allowance and overtime approvals run through the monthly cycle. Pakistan is five hours ahead of the UK in winter and four during British Summer Time.

Who answers employee questions about pay and leave?

The Crown desk. Employees contact us directly about payslips, tax certificates, leave balances and loans or advances, and we copy you on anything that needs your decision.

Is there a minimum number of employees?

No. We run payroll for a single employee or a whole team; larger teams are priced as a group.
