The situation

You found the right person in Pakistan. Now employ them properly.

Qatari companies increasingly rely on Pakistan for estimators, planners and document controllers for contractors, procurement coordinators, accountants, IT support staff, customer-service agents and candidates selected for Qatar roles who are waiting for their work visa. Paying them informally works until it does not: no contract to enforce, no insurance when they fall ill, no pension, and a misclassification question if an auditor or investor asks. Crown's payroll desk gives the person a real Pakistani employment contract in Crown's name and gives you one itemised invoice a month, while you keep full control of the work.

Pakistan is two hours ahead of Doha, so the two offices share most of the working day.

Questions

What Qatari employers ask us.

We are a Qatari business with no office in Pakistan. Can we still have an employee there?

Yes. Crown employs the person under Pakistani law and places them at your disposal under a service agreement. You never register anything in Pakistan; Crown carries the employment, payroll and filings.

Will our payment to Crown be taxed in Qatar?

Qatar applies a 5% withholding on service fees paid to non-residents without a Qatari permanent establishment. Our agreement includes a gross-up clause and we provide the tax residency certificate needed to claim treaty relief from the General Tax Authority.

Who is responsible if Pakistani labour law changes?

Crown. We apply every change in tax rates, contribution ceilings or leave entitlements automatically and show the effect as a separate line on the next invoice, so you are never out of compliance and never surprised.

What benefits does the employee legally get in Pakistan?

Income tax withheld and deposited; EOBI pension and provincial social security; at least 14 days' annual leave plus casual and sick leave and public holidays; gratuity of thirty days' wages per completed year; a written contract with a notice period; and, through Crown, group medical cover.

How do we end the arrangement?

Sixty days' written notice to Crown. We serve the statutory notice, settle leave and gratuity, issue the final tax certificate and bill the closing amounts, covered by the one-month deposit if needed.

Does the time difference work for a team in Doha or Al Wakrah?

Pakistan is two hours ahead of Doha, so the two offices share most of the working day. The working schedule is written into the employment contract, so the hours you need are the hours the employee is contracted for.

Can Crown handle the hiring too?

Yes. If you have a role but no candidate, our recruitment desk shortlists in Pakistan within seven working days and the person you select goes straight onto the EOR payroll.
