The situation

You found the right person in Pakistan. Now employ them properly.

Saudi companies increasingly rely on Pakistan for procurement and tender coordinators, estimators and quantity surveyors, AutoCAD and Revit drafters, accountants, document controllers, customer-service staff in Urdu and English, and candidates selected for Saudi roles who are waiting for an iqama. Paying them informally works until it does not: no contract to enforce, no insurance when they fall ill, no pension, and a misclassification question if an auditor or investor asks. Crown's payroll desk gives the person a real Pakistani employment contract in Crown's name and gives you one itemised invoice a month, while you keep full control of the work.

Pakistan is only two hours ahead of Riyadh, so the working days overlap almost completely.

Questions

What Saudi employers ask us.

We are a Saudi business with no office in Pakistan. Can we still have an employee there?

Yes. Crown employs the person under Pakistani law and places them at your disposal under a service agreement. You never register anything in Pakistan; Crown carries the employment, payroll and filings.

Will our payment to Crown be taxed in Saudi Arabia?

Saudi payers must withhold 5% on technical and consulting services paid to non-residents, or 15% on some categories, unless treaty relief applies. Our agreement includes a gross-up so the fee you agreed is the fee we receive, and we supply a Pakistani tax residency certificate to support a treaty claim.

Who is responsible if Pakistani labour law changes?

Crown. We apply every change in tax rates, contribution ceilings or leave entitlements automatically and show the effect as a separate line on the next invoice, so you are never out of compliance and never surprised.

What benefits does the employee legally get in Pakistan?

Income tax withheld and deposited; EOBI pension and provincial social security; at least 14 days' annual leave plus casual and sick leave and public holidays; gratuity of thirty days' wages per completed year; a written contract with a notice period; and, through Crown, group medical cover.

How do we end the arrangement?

Sixty days' written notice to Crown. We serve the statutory notice, settle leave and gratuity, issue the final tax certificate and bill the closing amounts, covered by the one-month deposit if needed.

Does the time difference work for a team in Riyadh, Jeddah or Dammam?

Pakistan is only two hours ahead of Riyadh, so the working days overlap almost completely. The working schedule is written into the employment contract, so the hours you need are the hours the employee is contracted for.

Can Crown handle the hiring too?

Yes. If you have a role but no candidate, our recruitment desk shortlists in Pakistan within seven working days and the person you select goes straight onto the EOR payroll.
