Hiring construction workers

Tested construction workers from Pakistan, ready for your site.

Crown Enterprises is a Pakistani overseas employment promoter licensed by the Bureau of Emigration & Overseas Employment (OEP Licence 2868/RWP) and certified to ISO 9001:2015. We recruit construction workers for employers abroad, test them in person in Pakistan, and handle the paperwork through to arrival.

Requests for construction workers come from the Gulf (Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain), from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia and Moldova, from rebuilding work in Ukraine and from projects in Kyrgyzstan.

Roles and trade tests

What each site role is tested on.

Construction accounts for most of the workers we send abroad. Trade tests take place in person in Pakistan and the result for each worker is recorded on your shortlist. This is how we select steel fixers, formwork carpenters and masons for Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan.

Timeline

How a construction hire runs.

  1. You send the demand. Roles, headcount, salary, contract length and start date. Crown replies in writing by the next working day.
  2. We source and trade-test. Candidates are tested in person in Pakistan. A tested shortlist reaches you within 5 to 10 working days.
  3. You interview and approve. Only the candidates you approve go forward.
  4. Documents and clearances. Medicals, embassy submissions and government attestations are handled in-house. For Gulf postings, workers also clear the GAMCA medical and Protectorate registration.
  5. Orientation and travel. Workers receive pre-departure orientation on duties, host-country culture and labour rights, and we coordinate travel and arrival.

Workers heading to Gulf projects pass the GAMCA medical and Protector of Emigrants clearance before they fly. For Saudi Arabia, approval to arrival usually takes 4 to 6 weeks.

Cost and paperwork

Your costs and your paperwork.

You pay no sourcing, screening or trade-testing fee. Flight tickets and statutory government fees are agreed case by case, because what each employer covers differs by project. Workers are charged only the placement fee permitted by BEOE regulation.

To start, an employer usually sends a demand letter, a power of attorney, the employment contract and the work-permit papers required by the destination country. See the full document list.

FAQs

Construction hiring questions.

Can you provide a large group for a single project?

Yes — large construction groups are what we are asked for most. Give us numbers by trade and the start date, and our feasibility answer will show what is achievable.

Can the workers read drawings?

Steel fixers and formwork carpenters are tested on working from drawings and bar schedules. We do not expect this from general labourers.

What safety training have workers had?

Before departure, workers are briefed on their duties, behaviour on site and their labour rights. A site-specific safety induction is still needed when they arrive.

What are the employer's costs?

There is no sourcing, screening or trade-testing fee. Flights and government fees are agreed for each project.
